History in Class 2

The Victorians

Last term in History we studied the Victorians.

At the end of the term we had a Victorian School Day.

For our display we made a model of Queen Victoria; some Victorian Wall paper and tiles like William Morris.

Queen Victoria is reading one of the News Papers we wrote about Victorian Times, as part of our Literacy project on Newspapers.

For our Victorian Day we all dressed up in old clothes to look like children from that period.

The Year 5 and 6 children were allowed to use ink pens; but I had to use a slate.

At playtime we played old fashioned games like skipping and with the hoops.
