Wish me luck as you wave me Goodbye!
As a finale to their work on World War ll - Class 2 held a Street Party and performed little playlets and sang War Time songs that showed what they had learnt about shelters; gas masks and evacuees - and of course, the Happy Times when the Lights went on again all over Europe.
It also served as a very emotional "Farewell Party" to me.
I was overwhelmed by the generosity of kind words and gifts from everyone - especially those "one-off" gifts of memories included in the Class Books and Wall Felt.
Thank you all for a wonderful 10 Years at Spreyton.
